Music

What a long strange trip it’s been. Matt has been making music since the
year 2000, well, actually since about 6th grade(1980), when he learned the coronet
and started exploring sounds on a Casio synthesizer. But here in 2014, Matt is
giving space to the music and the songs that have channeled through are fun,
intimate, and rebellious portraits of Love, Unity, and the American experiment.

In the past, Matt ran “the farm” a recording studio and art space that gave
San Antonio an eco-punk-psychadelic platform where artists like Girl In a Coma,
Pop Pistol, Buttercup, and Nicolette Good, came to record, do shows, and learn about
sustainability. After closing it’s doors in 2010, Matt wandered around
California, Colorado, and Texas writing new songs, teaching, and cleansing his soul.

Right now, in the Spring of 2014, Matt has teamed up with fellow healer and creative
Shane Moynihan, to finally bring the rocking, bluesing, and folking sound he’s been hearing
in his heart the last few years…

Below is a solo demo from a couple years ago… more to come this Spring!
